My last card for the night is for the challenge "I'm So Grateful". This challenge was to make a thank you card to use as an Anyhero Card for a soldier who is currently serving our country. I made the card and already had the picture taken and everything when I noticed that I had forgotten to put Thank You on it. I am going to use it anyway because I plan on thanking the soldier when I write my note.
The digi is from Create with TLC. The stars were made with my Cricut from the Cricut Classic Font cartridge. The star paper and cardstock was out of my scrap box.

OWH VCMP challenge #4
Here is another card I have made for the OWH Virtual Card Making Party that is going on this weekend. Challenge 4 was "Pick One". The challenge was to pick a number. Then you had to go to the OWH blog and make a card using the corresponding sketch. I picked number 82. The sketch looks like this:
My card ended up looking like this. I did the basic sketch but then I also put some layering in on it. I like the way it turned out and can me making more cards like this.
Recipie:
Snowflake Paper - The Paper Studio
Stamps - Inspired Stamps
Cardstock - Paper Stock
OWH VCMP challenge #2
I haven't been able to make as many cards this weekend as I had wanted for the OWH birthday weekend challenges but hopefully I will be able to continue making cards during the week and get them posted. The second challenge was "Celebrate Nature". The purpose of this challenge was to make a card showing things of nature. I immediately thought of this digi. I have used it several times on different cards but really seem to like it.
I do not know where this digi came from. If anyone knows, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due. The cardstock is out of my stockpile.
Happy Birthday OWH!

OWH VCMP challenge #1
It is a great weekend at OWH. It is their special birthday weekend. All weekend they have been putting up challenges on their blog every 2 hours. The first challenge is called Garanamals. The challenge was to make a card for a child.
The zebra, phrase and flowers are all from the Cricut "Create a Critter" cartridge. The plaid paper and the colored cardstock are all from the paper stash so sorry - don't know where it is from.

CDAC Progressive Challenge 2
I started a progressive challenge on the CDAC website. You are sent several digis and must make a card with one of them before the deadline. Then you will be sent new digis for the next round of the contest. I chose a back to school digi for this round of the challenge.
The digi came from Sweet Stamping Sweets. The alphabet paper is from the Paper Studio. The cardstock is out of my supply paper.

OWH Birthday Challenge - Autumn
I am playing catch up today and making some cards for the OWH Birthday celebration with all their challenges. It has been so much fun looking at the new challenge each day to see what they want you to try. This challenge was to make a card with an autumn (or fall) motif. Since the weather has really cooled down here in Arkansas this week, this wasn't hard to do at all!

OWH Sketch #85
This is a challenge for OWH birthday challenge. I was to make a card using sketch #85. It looks like this:
I decided to go with a fall card for this sketch. I had just gotten all my fall paper out along with some new stamps I had just bought so it felt right to go fall!
I think it turned out pretty good but when I was making the card, it seemed like something was missing around the tag so I ended up adding some small orange brads on the side of the tag. I think it gave it a little extra pop and was just what it needed!
Recipe:
Leaf Paper - The Paper Studio
Fall Stamp - Studio G clear stamps stamped with brown ink
Orange brads and cardstock out of the supply closet.
Happy Birthday OWH!
