OWH I'm So Grateful challenge

My last card for the night is for the challenge "I'm So Grateful".  This challenge was to make a thank you card to use as an Anyhero Card for a soldier who is currently serving our country.  I made the card and already had the picture taken and everything when I noticed that I had forgotten to put Thank You on it.  I am going to use it anyway because I plan on thanking the soldier when I write my note.

The digi is from Create with TLC.  The stars were made with my Cricut from the  Cricut Classic Font cartridge.  The star paper and cardstock was out of my scrap box.

God Bless America!

  1. Hi Carol, I like your card! I smiled when I read you forgot to put thank you on it, you'll do that on the inside when you write your "Any Hero" note. Thanks for playing in our "I'm So Grateful" challenge at Operation Write Home!

  2. Hi Carol. I'm so glad you stopped by & left me a comment. I am so flattered that anyone would ask a question about my card. That doesn't usually happen. My card (if you can remember it out of all the many cards posted for the hop) was a Santa card with the little hidden pocket in the back. The images I used are Peachy Keen stamps and as far as a tutorial on construction, it's very simple. I just made a gate-fold card & cut the front 2 flaps diagonally and I just glued an extra panel on the back of the card for the note to go in.
Welcome to the world of paper crafting and yes it is very addicting. Have fun (I'll be watching.)
