Bugaboo Challenge

I have recently found and fell in love with the bugaboo stamps.  They are just so cute and precious.  I have been following that blog and have found where I can enter weekly challenges.  So, with that being said, here is my card for that challenge which was a sketch challenge.

The digi is a freebie from Bugaboo Stamps of course.  The red gingham paper is from the Paper Studio.  The red, green and brown paper is just regular cardstock.  The I love You stamp is from a collection called "Greetings" from Inkadinkado.  The green cardstock was cut with the Doily Lace edge punch from Martha Stewart crafts.

I had a lot of fun with the sketch challenge.  I can't wait to make more cards with this sketch.  All of the cards I make go on to be sent to Operation Write Home.

Meljens Blog Challenge

It is still so hot outside!  It is 7:45pm right now and it is still 103 degrees outside.  So, that means I have been making more cards and finding more blog challenges to enter.  I have found it helps to stimulate my mojo if I have a challenge to work on.  Anyway, here is my card for Meljen's blog challenge, Frame It.

The snowman digi is from Meljens of course.  The snowflake paper is from the Paper Studio.  The snowflake buttons are some out of my button jar and the red ribbon is some I got at the after Christmas sale last year at a local dollar store.

New Blog

I have been blog surfing this weekend because frankly it is just too darn hot to go outside and do anything else!  I have found so many blogs that have great ideas for cards.  I just can't decide which direction to go in first now!  But, I did find a great blog that is giving away some wonderful blog candy.  Just go to http://shestamps.blogspot.com to check out her blog and enter for blog candy.

Gotta go - time to go make some cards!

CDAC Challenge

I used the sketch from the CDAC challenge that is being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.  I used the sketch to plan out the card and then used the free digi from Bugaboo.  I think she is really cute and I can't wait to use her on some more cards.

To create the card, I took dark blue cardstock and stamped it all over with a snowflake stamp using dark blue ink.  The light blue snowflake paper is out of the scrap box.  The digi is from Bugabook Stamps and the red snowman ribbon is an after Christmas sale last year at a local dollar store.  The snowflakes down the side are buttons out of the button box.

Bugaboo Stamps Christmas in July challenge #4

Well, today is day 4 in the Christmas in July challenges by Bugaboo Stamps.  I have had a great time creating cards this week and have ended up with several that I really like and will create more to send in to OWH.  Today's challenge was to create a card with snowflakes on it.  Here is my card that I came up with:

Isn't she just adorable!  Thank you to Bugaboo for this wonderful free digi.  The light blue snowflake paper is from my scrap box again.  The darker blue is cardstock that I stamped with a snowflake stamp with dark blue ink.  The snowflake buttons came from who knows where but I thought they did a lot for this card!  The red ribbon with snowmen on it came from an after Christmas sale last year from a local dollar store.

Bugaboo Stamps Christmas in July Challenge #3

Well, the Bugaboo Stamp Christmas in July Challenge #3 is to create a card using a sketch that they provided.  This was a lot of fun and I had a good time getting some of my Christmas papers out and trying to decide what to use.  I am pleased with my finished product and here it is:

The Joy sentiment is a digi from Bugaboo.  The striped paper is out of my scrap pile and the red and green is just cardstock.  The buttons are out of the button jar.

Bugaboo Christmas in July Day 2

I have really been enjoying the Bugaboo Stamps Christmas in July challenges.  The Tuesday challenge was to use the digi that was provided to use.  I didn't like the Stella digi much to start with because I like the "cuter" digis but the more I looked at her and after she was all colored, she kinda took a life of her own.  So, the statement definitely seemed to go with her sassyness!

The Stella digi is a freebie from Bugaboo Stamps.
The comment is a freebie from Create with TLC.
The red and green is just plain cardstock.
